Indoor Soccer
U-16 Girls
Indoor Soccer will begin with the second session (January-February) at Afrims. Games are usually on Sundays. Check back for a schedule. Practice Clinics will be held at the high school with Coach Santos on Saturday mornings. More details to follow.
Fall Soccer Practices
Practices will be held every day (Monday - Friday) from 3:00pm-5:00pm at the Satellite Fields. Transportation will be provided to the field. Players, however, are required to arrange for transportation home.
Please come dressed in appropriate gear, i.e. shorts/pants, shirt, shinguards, cleats.
Practices will consist of:
- warm-up/stretch
- conditioning
- ball skills and techniques
- teamwork exercises
- scrimmages
- games
Games
All games will be played at 4:00pm with the exception of Saturday games, which will be played at 10:00am. Home games will be at the Satellite Fields. All away games will have transportation provided for the players both to and from the field. Please check back for directions to away fields.
Team Rules
- Players must notify me, in writing, in advance, if they are to miss a
practice or a game.
- Players are expected to show positive attitudes, and to follow directions
given by the coach. The coach will not permit whining, grumbling, horse-play,
or other disruptive acts during games or practices.
- Players must show courtesy towards teammates at all times. The coach will
not permit name-calling, teasing, criticizing or other acts designed to
hurt feelings or cause injury.
- Players must be prepared and on time for all practices and games.
- All players must be willing to play all positions, and follow the assignments
given by the coach. Over the season, there may be a time when every player
will be on both defense and offense.
- All players are responsible for team equipment and must abide by the duty
assigned to them.
- Failure to follow Team Rules, and abide by the Player Agreement, may result
in appropriate discipline (including reduced playing time). For severe and
uncorrected problems, players could be asked to leave the team.
- During games, players are expected to show courtesy to opponents and to
referees. The decision of the referee is binding.
