Principal's Message

As I welcome you to the Voorheesville Elementary School web site, I would like to thank all of the people who have taken time to welcome me into this wonderful community.  It is easy to see what makes Voorheesville such an extraordinary place.     There is a special appeal to our school community.  It has to do with the character and values and a tradition of academic excellence.  I am looking forward to continuing the many traditions in the building and playing an integral role in creating an atmosphere that encourages creativity, inquisitiveness and excitement about learning.  Perhaps more importantly, we will continue to stress citizenship, an openness to diversity and mutual respect.     I value your continued community support and I am excited about this year and the many years to come.
